Merry Christmas!
2024 is almost in our rearview mirrors and it has been another crazy year. It seems like we’ve had nothing but crazy years since 2020. Still, I remain grateful for all that life has given me in 2024. We’ve lived outside of the United States since 2000 and the majority of Christmases since then have been spent in Muslim countries where the holiday isn’t widely celebrated.
It’s interesting how much of the secular holiday has snuck in. Things like Christmas trees, Santa Claus and gift-giving are common and in the countries we’ve lived in are usually incorporated into a kind of New Year’s Celebration. Regardless of how you celebrate, please accept Christmas greetings from this author, who is always grateful to have you as a reader.
